Uploaded..

I have sent new entries; it is about my philosophy in education and also my resume. In my way to finish up these two important things, I take about one week. Even I do not sure for what I have done because this is my first time wrote on these, but I continue it. I really hope that anyone who knows better than me to give comment or advise on my work so that I can improve it from time to time.

I am also uploading my entries in goggle doc to apply for what I have learnt before other than make my page tight.

On the way..

Now, I am in my ways to finish my philosophy in education and also my resume. Actually, I plan to do it earlier. But, due to the so many things to do, I can’t manage my time very well. Anyway, I will try to finish it.

Actually, my draft is already with me, but I need few times to finish it. I have done some research in the internet to get some ideas what is philosophy all about. Also my resume, I have got an example of resume as my guideline.

I hope I can finish my philosophy in education and my resume too. If line is clear, I will upload it as soon as possible.

What is an artifact??~

Many of the artifacts that are in your E-Portfolio will be outcomes of your general education, studio art and art education courses. Some examples of these artifacts include, but are not limited to:

Your current philosophy of art education
Art curriculum lessons and units that you have written
Art resources and teaching materials

As you collect your artifacts and write reflections, you will engage in formative or on-going assessment. When you exit your art education program, you will engage in summative evaluation with your advisors and faculty.

Many of the artifacts in your E-Portfolio will occur directly from your teaching and your professional activities. Some examples of these artifacts include, but are not limited to:

Your philosophy of art education
Teaching license/Certification
Art curriculum lessons and units that you have written

What is reflective teaching??~ reflection defined

Reflection means <> the way we teach

Reflective teaching means exploring the implications of all these complex factors with the intention of understanding and improving our practice.
A good place to start is by considering our own pasts, as learners and teachers and reflecting on the beliefs, knowledge and values that we have developed from our experiences.

What is Presentation Use??~

Presentation use, as it is referred to here, is the use of an image in an electronic presentation. Examples of this include use in PowerPoint, web pages, Excel illustrations, and other media that is not intended to be printed. Presentation use can also include the use of these files in simple printed media that doesn't require high-quality images such as Word documents. This is the usage category that most people would fall into.

What is a Philosophy of Teaching Statement, and Why is it Important??~

Philosophy of teaching statements are concise statements of what you believe about the teaching and learning of languages, and possibly also about education in general.

Most sources recommend that you keep your teaching philosophy statement between one and two pages in length, covering what you believe, why, and brief examples of how you implement it in the classroom.

While a statement of your philosophy of teaching is an important item to include in your teacher portfolio, it also serves a much more important role. It guides and informs you as you prepare other portfolio items, it helps you prepare for a job interview, and it helps you to ensure that you are consistent in the way you answer job interview questions.

What is a lesson plan??~

~A daily lesson plan is developed by the teacher to guide the instruction. Planning the instruction is much more difficult than delivering the instruction.

~Planning is when you look at the curriculum standards and develop lesson content that match those standards. Luckily, textbooks that are adopted for your subject areas are typically are written with this in mind.

~All details should be written down to assist the smooth delivery of the content. The extent of the detail will vary depending on the number of years of experience that the teacher has and the number of times he/she has taught the lesson.

~Obviously a teacher with several or many years of experience may have plans that are much less detailed than beginning teachers. There will be requirements mandated by the school system that employs you regarding your responsibilities.
